Ugh...what a night...

  • Jan. 12th, 2008 at 8:56 AM

Charlie was gone all night.  Kinda had me worried.
One of his tortoises was injured really bad and he had to rush her to the vet hospital.  Hope everything is ok...

Hi again!  Its me, Max.
I figured I should give you a general run down of what we got at the store...

Lets see...
At any given time Charlie typically has a large selection of fish, reptiles, birds, and those cute and fuzzy things.  You should really come in to see what's he's got!  Check out our website: www.charliespetemporium.com

Tell ya what.  I'll show you some of the coolest friends I got at the store.
First of all, THESE little buggers are AWESOME!
torts
These are russian tortoises.  BABIES mind you...well maybe not TRUE babies...they are about 2 years old.  But they are the cutest little guys.  You might see russian tortoises at THOSE OTHER pet stores...you know, the really big ones that ruin small buisnesses?  But don't be fooled!  those poor tortoises in those other stores are WILD CAUGHT...stolen from their homes and put through horrific ordeals to get to this country.  Make sure YOUR tortoises are CAPTIVE BRED.  These guys ARE captive bred...and whats more the price of them are AMAZING for such high quality and HEALTHY companions.  Trust me...Charlie raves about his first pet tortoise (which unfortunately was wild caught) all the time...

Not cuddly enough for you?  How about a parrot?
cinnamon
This little guy is a cinnamon cheeck conure.  Unlike other conures, he's pretty quiet.  Oh he can be a bit squawky at times, but usually only when Charlie's comes in the door to feed us.  He doesn't have a name yet, but boy is he a character.  He actually leans back in his cage and lounges against the wall.  He also likes to hang upside down.  He's going to make someone VERY happy when he finds a home.

Need something softer?
degu
This little guy is called a Degu (DAY-goo)!  Charlie has a bunch of these at the store.  They're closely related to chinchillas, but they play more during the day rather than keeping me up at night.  Charlie has two young boys ready for a home.  They are handleable, just a little squirmy.  They're a laugh riot to watch play though...

Well thats all the spotlights for today.  Stay tuned for more.  What?...
Oh, Charlie wants me to let you know that he can make special orders if you want something special.  He has a number of contacts with actual breeders which can usually help find that special companion for you within a week or so.

See ya later!

Welcome to Charlie's Pet Emporium!

  • Dec. 31st, 2007 at 9:48 AM

Charlie's Pet Emporium is a small yet reputable pet store located in central massachusetts.  We specialize in small pets (sorry, no cats or dogs are sold at our store, but we DO have supplies for them) such as mice, hamsters, birds, and a large selection of reptiles, amphibians and others.

Charlie's prides himself in the highest quality companions and friends unlike the larger chain stores.  In addition, many of the friends at the store are cheaper and healthier than those at other stores.
Charlie is also knowledgeable in keeping your new friends happy and healthy.

My name is Max.  I currently reside here at the store.  Thats Charlie next to me...I hope you don't get us mixed up.

I will be your host on this site.  I'll tell you all about what's new and whats been going on.  For example, just yesterday, Charlie finished painting the store's sign.  Looks pretty good I must say...

So that is all for now.

Visit our website at www.charliespetemporium.com to see what we have for you!
